On ttrack action

Once again I was rolling up to the gates at Brands Hatch, however this time I was there for the first official British Superbike test of the year.It was great to be out with the likes of Shakey Byrne and Haga, which spurred me on to go faster, resulting in a personal best lap time. This was before a fast crash into Surtees, a left hand bend at the end of the back straight. Luckily I was able to get out on the spare bike for the last session and get in more quality track time.

Next it was off to the Snetterton 300 for the second BSB test, this was my first time at this circuit on the 600 but I had good results on the 125 so I was feeling confident. After a steady start I increased my pace and finished with a good setup. I then stayed at Snetterton for the first BMCRC race meeting of the year.

The two day race meeting had ups and downs as I was able to get some good lap times but during the last race on Sunday, the engine failed. This means we have to rebuild the bike before the first British Superbike meeting in two weeks’ time.
